artisan direct ~ Manuela Valenti

Manuela Valenti was born April 14, 1968 in Caracas, Venezuela, South America, from Italian immigrant parents. A prodigy child, she has worked as a professional artist for the most part of her life.

Valenti’s inspiration is found in the everyday situations and experiences. Travels, people, family, her kids and pets are integral part of this never-ending world that surrounds her which brings the necessary sparkle for her creations. Fascinated by human nature and emotions, Manuela is able to transform what she lives and experience into the works the viewer connects with, her vibrant palette filled with daring colors taking the viewer through a conveyor of images and emotions.

Valenti is not afraid to create and performs with ease in two completely opposite styles which amazes collectors and galleries as well considering her one of the most vibrant, prolific contemporary artist in the world today.

Valenti’s work was introduced in the United States in early 2000 and since then has gained international recognition. Her works hang in over 900 private and corporate collectors in the USA, Canada, Venezuela, Spain, Italy, France, UK, Ireland, Brazil, Colombia, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden and Japan among others. She has being published in numerous magazine articles in the US and Europe. Most recently her Biography was published in the Who’s Who in America® 2008 and is scheduled to be published in Who’s Who of American Women® 2009. She has shown on internationally-renowned exhibitions as the High Point Market, the world’s home for home decor, High Point NC 2008, New York ArtExpo 2008, Mac21 International Contemporary Art Fair in Marbella, Spain in 2002 and the Biennale of Venice in 2004. In late 2007 Valenti launches her new line of Museum Quality Giclée Prints from some of her abstracts and impressionist works. She’s represented by Chelsea Art Gallery in Michigan, Sherrus Art Gallery in Michigan, The Logan & Moore Gallery in Connecticut and Arte Teletxe in Spain among others.
